In addition to providing unique services, our client owns and operates the business themself. The client operated solely within the Florida community last year. A custom cake and dessert delivery service was provided to local customers. In our first consulting engagement with the client, we were tasked with expanding their e-commerce business through the Shopify platform. Our team began by dissecting the new challenge presented to us and improving past implementations to ensure that everything we put in place was effective. We brainstormed the design of a new product and assessed what the core goal of that product would look like in the future. Through our research, we discovered that subscription pricing models are well suited for businesses that want to establish recurring consistent purchases from customers and incentivize customers to purchase more in the long run. After several discussions with our client and the team internally, we were able to create the a new sweets box, a subscription-based product that would be available to customers all across the country.
The sweets box had three different subscription options: one-time purchase, 3-month delivery, and 12-month delivery. What makes this product unique is that each month the sweets box will have a different assortment of sweets, making it an attractive option for customers who crave variety.
In addition to developing the sweets product, we listened to feedback from our client regarding our solutions in the past. By doing so, we were able to make edits to their website and provide more customized recommendations that catered to their individual needs.
