At Rem and Company, we’re determined to change that statistic. When we started this program in 2020 at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our mission was to “Keep doors open and dreams alive”. Our namesake, REM, is the stage of sleep where dreams are created. For many small business owners, starting a business is a dream. One filled with freedom, creativity, and endless possibilities. Our Small Biz Big Dreams Accelerator Program provides small business owners and nonprofit organizers with the support needed to make those dreams a reality.

“Rem and Company is staffed with very knowledgeable experts who are not only that but also kind and compassionate. All of the individuals involved in my project added in-depth information to my growing company. They really understand every aspect of how to run a successful business.”

Rem and Company’s “Small Biz Big Dreams” free accelerator program provides small businesses and nonprofits with access to top talent and growth resources through free consulting services. Each small business or nonprofit selected for the program is paired with one of our pro bono consulting teams for 8 weeks. The teams are built specifically around your business challenges and work with each small business owner weekly to develop strategies and implement solutions.  While no business we work with is the same, many face similar challenges. We’ve highlighted some common pain points the small businesses we’ve worked with have faced. Check out our Impact Reports to learn more.

  • Diversity

At Rem and Company, we are extremely passionate about supporting female and minority-owned small businesses and nonprofits. We understand the historical lack of support for these enterprises, and our accelerator program aims to provide the guidance and resources needed to help these businesses flourish.

    Dedication

Successful projects come from mutual accountability between our free consulting teams and the businesses we work with. During the 6-8 week engagement, we ask for a commitment of at least two hours per week from the small business owner or designated point of contact within the organization.

    Drive

Rem and Company was started with the mission of “keeping doors open and dreams alive”. With this in mind, we can’t help but be drawn to those who dream big. We look for applicants who have clear goals of what they want to accomplish and are excited to have us help them reach those goals.

  • As a social impact initiative, our services are entirely free of charge. This organization was started to provide young professionals with a way to participate in community service while utilizing their corporate skills and educational backgrounds. Everyone involved in our program volunteers their time, and our administrative costs are covered by donations from corporate sponsors and passionate community members. Due to their generosity and our dedicated volunteers, we've supported hundreds of businesses through our free consulting services.

  • We receive a lot of applications and because of that, you will only be notified if you have been selected to speak with your region’s coordinator. If selected, the coordinator for your region will email you to set up a call to better understand your business and assess if you are the right fit for the program.

Please note: This form does not save your progress so we recommend writing your answers on a separate document and then transferring them over when you are ready to submit.
