Brand Identity, Expansion, and Financial Stability Services for a Small For-Profit Spa

Situation:

After years of successful services, our client is getting ready to expand among corporate offices and franchise the company. The company is looking to build a structure to help with this growth. Fundamentally, our client wants to bring in trusted partners that are true to their brand. Thus, the business seeks consistency in their values and mission that they will use to market and brand themselves; this includes setting core values for customers that emphasize individual needs as opposed to just personal desires. Furthermore, the company is looking to increase profit through diverse offerings and aligning with their established brand identity.

Challenge:

The two primary challenges our client asked our team to address were to develop partnerships with local plastic surgeons and expand their appeal to a corporate audience. Through establishing these professional relationships, their larger goal was that they hoped to increase their corporate membership program and develop a pipeline from plastic surgery to treatment. A lesser priority to our client was their financials, which they wanted to simply understand better in case there needed to be changes to any of their operations.

 Approach:

Our team decided to target three objectives in order to emphasize the following pillars: Marketing, Brand Identity, Strategy and Expansion, and Financial Stability

  1. The first objective was Financial Optimization, where our Strategist took raw financial data provided by our client and created visualizations to show what years and months had the greatest revenue and which had the least, and which services had the greatest impact on the revenue.

  2. The second objective was Enhancing Brand Identity, which was accomplished by creating a solid mission statement to summarize the core of the brand and providing suggestions to be implemented in the website to streamline its visuals with the mission statement. Research on SEO Keywords was also done to see how the client could utilize keywords to increase online attention to the website.

  3. The last objective was Expanding Appeal to Corporate to increase the Corporate Wellness Program to both plastic surgeons and corporate offices. Accordingly, two deliverables in the form of presentations were created in order to make it seamless for our client to present its program to potential partners. In order to create in-depth presentations that appealed to the geographic region of the spa, research on nearby areas and their prominent corporate offices/plastic surgeons was done, as well as similar programs that other wellness/beauty businesses have to see how our client’s program compares.

Impact:

Through financial optimization and research, analysis of our client’s cash flow history aims to forecast the spa’s revenue streams and inform future business strategy. Furthermore, these key statistics will reinforce its credibility and strengthen its reputation among potential partners and corporate clients.

The pitch decks will allow our client to reach out to potential partners and inform customers of its mission, benefits, and approach. The Corporate Wellness pitch deck will guide its representatives through a presentation to pique clients’ interests and bring in a more extensive clientele for their Corporate Wellness Program. The Plastic Surgery and Post Operative pitch deck will promote the recruitment of trained medical professionals.

After a thorough discussion with the founder and research on the small business’s philosophy and goals, Rem and Company created a succinct mission statement: “We believe that self-care is a necessity,  not a luxury. It is our goal to provide women from all walks of life with the services they are worthy of.”
